Coding Challenge with the Discord group!

During my time in a Web Development bootcamp, a fellow student named Andres created a Discord group for our class. As time passed and we graduated, he started inviting more junior developers, making the group even more exciting. To support each other, Andres and one of the moderators, Matthew, came up with the idea of having coding challenges within the Discord group. We now participate in weekly coding challenges where we can create anything we want over the weekend, and then provide each other with honest and kind feedback on our work.

The challenges are open to anyone regardless of skill level, and there is no judgement involved. Participants can choose to work alone or collaborate with others. This week’s challenge is a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge, and we’re excited to see what everyone will come up with.

If you’re interested in joining the Discord group and are new to Web Development or coding in general, feel free to reach out to me. We‘re a friendly and welcoming group, and we‘d love to have more like-minded people join us.

(I added the bold text aka, “bionic reading” to make the text easier to process for ADHDers. πŸ™‚ Hopefully it is helpful!)

UPDATE:

We finished our challenge. I have here the Tic-Tac-Toe game I ended up publishing. I did use a youtube tutorial to do this which I will link here if you are interested. It is by Coding Artist and I really enjoy the style and the walkthrough is very easy to follow (well, I pause it a lot haha!!)

Check it out if you want to play some Tic-Tac-Toe! ohnetters-tic-tac-toe!
